I LOVE the digital age! And politics, philosophy, science, culture... you know, nerdy stuff. I'd like to meet fellow nerds & continue to build on my nerdome. This compels me to pursue my passion, interactive media.
Following is my professional Bio:
"Shannon Morgan is a senior at Boise State University, majoring in Communication with a minor in Political Science. She is the only student to successfully earn two one-year terms as Editor-in-Chief of BSU's 76 year old student newspaper, The Arbiter.
Shannon spent her first term transforming The Arbiter and into an online daily interactive multi-platform media outlet, and her second term helping to create the Boise State Student Media Group. The media group is comprised of five branches including the student newspaper, radio, video, interactive media/online and business office.
During her tenure as a journalist she won multiple awards for her work in podcasting, writing, and interactive media story telling. Her work has been published in a book by the Poynter Institute about the historic election of Barack Obama, and in the 9th edition of America Now, which features some of the best college persuasive writing of 2010."
